Warm Cherry & Cinnamon Porridge

This is my new favourite cold weather breakfast recipe!

Ingredients:

⌁1 1/2 cup oats
⌁soy or nut milk
⌁125g frozen cherries
⌁1tbs muscovado sugar
⌁1tbs water
⌁dash of salt
⌁1 dash of cinnamon
⌁almonds to top
⌁whipped coconut cream to top

Method:

Make your porridge by combining oats with your milk of choice and cook until the mixture thickens.

In a separate pot combine the frozen cherries, muscovado sugar, salt, water and cinnamon and cook until all the sugar is dissolved and the liquid has thickened.

Top the porridge with the cherry mixture, whipped coconut or soy cream, almonds and another dash of cinnamon.
